Business Bill Payment Users:
Important Information about Login Changes
On September 24th Santa Cruz County Bank will be upgrading Business Bill Pay in order to enhance our security and protect your financial information. These new security enhancements will change how you login to Business Bill Pay and will require your current contact information. You will receive an automated prompt to provide us this information. We recommend adding your cell phone number as your primary Home telephone number, especially if you travel. Our upgraded security service will continue to allow you anytime/anywhere access to your financial information and will better protect your sensitive data.
Streamlined Login Process
After the upgrade, you may notice the picture & phrase that previously appeared when you logged in have been removed. In addition, you are no longer required to formally register your computer; the new system has technology to recognize if your computer has been used before to access the system. We are implementing a more secure and behind the scene process to validate your device (PC, laptop, tablet, mobile phone), username and password.
Enhanced Security Settings
Occasionally, when you login in, you will experience a new layer of security. Instead of asking challenge questions, you will be asked to validate your identity by entering a one-time security code during a phone call placed to your number on file. We recommend adding a cell phone number to your Business Bill Pay profile. In order to do this, please choose Business Users under the Administration section of Business Bill Pay. If a phone number is not available, you will be asked to contact customer support. This enhanced security feature helps safeguard your information.
If you have additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact a member of our team at 831-457-5000 or eBanking@sccountybank.com.
Session Time-Out Notification
This enhancement displays a time-out notification to Online Banking users. The Time-Out notification allows users to decide whether to continue their session. If the user decides to continue, the system resets the Time-Out counter. By default, the warning appears two minutes before the system logs out the user and redisplays the Login screen.
To assist navigation in OLB, we added links on several screens to redirect users to the most used screens.
- Accounts Overview quick links - The Accounts Overview screen now includes a dynamic menu for each account (see screen shot below). The menu options are appropriate for the user's entitlements as well as the Account Type. The menu options include the most likely tasks the user will perform on the account.
Transaction Search by Amount
This enhancement allows users to search account history by amount, expanding the Transaction Search criteria to include a single amount, a range of amounts, amounts above a minimum amount, or amounts below a maximum amount.
Security Questions - Help Protect Your Identity
Santa Cruz County Bank is dedicated to protecting your account information. We ask that you provide us the answer to a security question that only you would know so that we are able to properly identify you when you call into the Bank requesting your personal account information. You may choose from one of three security questions.
To set up your private security question and answer, we invite you to come by or call any of our local offices, or send us a message in Online Banking.
If you choose to send us this information in Online Banking, please send us a message by accessing Customer Service, Communications Center and choosing Requests & Messages. From the Requests & Messages screen click Ask a Question/Send a Message?, choose Private Security Question from the Message Topic drop down, and answer one of the three questions.
