Local bank to open Mid-County kiosk Santa Cruz County Bank is building a walk-up ATM and night depository kiosk to serve Mid-County. The kiosk will be next to the Education Building at Dominican Hospital, 1555 Soquel Drive. Slated to open no later than Nov. 1, the kiosk is targeted at the nearby medical community but is open to the public. It will be the first unstaffed facility for the local bank, which has three offices, in Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz and Watsonville. The bank has hired veteran banker Chris Maffia to assist with business relationship building throughout the county, but with a particular focus on professionals and businesses surrounding the new kiosk.
